Starr Winmill Shebesta, Artist

Starr is a watercolor artist and the gallery owner of Artclectic Art Gallery.  She launched Artclectic Art Gallery in 2022 to provide a showcase for the outstanding artwork of Greater Cincinnati artists. She serves on the Board of the Greater Cincinnati Watercolor Society as its Treasurer, Website Manager, and Communications Chair.  She is a Signature member of the Women’s Art Club of Cincinnati and won the Martha Ray Watercolor Award at the 2022 Woman’s Art Club of Cincinnati Annual Juried Art Show. She was honored to judge the Women’s Art Club of Hamilton art show, an experience that reinforced her belief in the importance of community, mentorship, and thoughtful critique in the arts. Starr values work that reflects both technical skill and authentic voice, and she approaches each piece with an open mind and a careful eye.
