Leslie Durham

Leslie Durham has been a glass artist specializing in Tiffany lamp recreations since 1979. She was always drawn to the beauty of oil paintings and in 2000 she decided to give it a try. She traveled to India and recreated scenes of simple everyday life there. She quickly realized how much oil painting, while challenging, gave her joy. She studied under Chuck Marshall who has influenced her painting journey. In Leslie’s words, “I continue to enjoy the challenge of recreating the beauty I encounter, whether it be a vase with daffodils or a woman wearing a silk sari milking a cow.”
